Class Descriptions

All Academy classes have a set curriculum and class structure. While each class may look different, the focus skills, progressions, and standards remain the same. Progress reports are done twice during the standard fall session, move-up evaluations can be requested at any time.

Academy I

This class is for girls ages 6 – 8. This class is designed to introduce the basics taught in junior Academy and continue through foundational skills and progressions. You do not need to have completed Junior Academy. This class will have a variety of skill levels as coaches work with beginners as well as those who may be close to moving up to Academy 2. This benefits the gymnasts as they can see the progression and remember the foundation. Move-up is based on a set requirement of skills and can occur at any point during a child’s session.
